templeBOUDDHANATH
My Bouddhanath, my favorite temple in the whole world, it was the inspiration to create the logo for this Blog.
As Beautiful as the Taj-Mahal and Magical as the Tiger’s nest monastery.
It is located inside of Kathmandu, but hidden itself from the city inside a small Square , extremely clean, surrounded by slim buildings, with lots of little shops, cafeterias and hotels with terraces on their top floors overlooking the temple.
There, you can enjoy a meal while listening to the Buddhist songs that gives life to this place.
And now i find it Half destroyed after the earthquake.
The people build this great Stupa in honor of Buddha, the great spiritual leader.
And they’ve keep coming here for hundreds of years, to walk around the stupa, while spinning The praying wheels that are encrusted all around its walls.
And I’m sure, it soon will be Rebuild in all it’s glory, so it keeps receiving the people who comes to pay homage, or us… Tourists who come here, just to witness it’s glory, it’s magic…. To be filled with peace.

BOUDDHANATH
